Unic Showcases Innovation at Host Milano 2025

Unic is reaffirming its commitment to delivering a unique coffee experience through a series of technical innovations set to debut at Host Milano 2025. In an in-depth interview, General Manager Tommaso Fontana Rava shares insights into the shifting dynamics of the coffee industry—particularly the rise of specialty coffee in Southern Europe.
According to Fontana Rava, the surge in specialty coffee shops across cities like Paris and Madrid is no longer a niche trend but a mainstream movement, largely driven by younger consumers who value transparency, quality, and design.
To meet this growing demand, Unic is taking a dual approach:

A new line of traditional espresso machines focused on high performance and refined aesthetics.
A compact model in the TANGO XP range, designed for high-volume specialty venues that require consistency and speed without compromising on quality.

The TANGO XP Compact introduces cutting-edge features such as:

• Automatic grind-size calibration
• Motorized grinder settings
• Precision extraction technology

These innovations aim to deliver barista-level quality in an automated format—ideal for fast-paced environments.
Unic is also addressing sustainability challenges with boilerless technology and instant heating systems that significantly reduce energy consumption and scale buildup. These advancements not only improve machine durability but also enhance the taste and consistency of the coffee.

Unic’s latest innovations will be on display at Booth C12-D11, Hall 12 during Host Milano, from October 17 to 21, 2025.
