ARWA: Scaling Coffee Culture with UNIC

From a family vision in Texas to a fast growing coffeehouse brand across the US, ARWA is bringing Yemeni coffee culture to new audiences while keeping quality and consistency at the heart of its growth.

Founded in 2022, ARWA began with a simple ambition: to create a space where people could discover the richness of Yemeni coffee culture.

What started as a single café in Richardson, Texas, quickly became something much bigger.

Today, ARWA has 17 locations across the United States, with many more on the way.

As the brand expands, maintaining the same coffee quality and customer experience across every location is essential. Since its very first opening, ARWA has relied on UNIC Stella Epic espresso machines to support this growth.

“Great coffee starts with the beans but delivering that quality over and over again comes down to the reliability of the equipment,” explains ARWA Co-Founder Yazan Soofi.

With its multi boiler architecture and volumetric control, Stella Epic helps ARWA teams maintain consistent espresso extraction across locations while adapting settings to the characteristics of each coffee.

But the story goes beyond equipment. As ARWA continues to grow, close collaboration and early planning have become an important part of the relationship between both companies.

Working with UNIC gives us confidence,” says Soofi. “That direct communication is crucial. It gives us confidence that we can continue to expand while maintaining our standards.”
